Why this role exists

Nonprofits and vertical SaaS companies are drowning in disconnected tools — one system for donors, another for marketing, another for data. We built software that unifies all of it, powered by AI, so small teams can act like big ones. The product works. Now we need someone to take it to market and build the sales function from the ground up — not inherit a playbook, write one.

What the first few months look like

This is a founding seat. You'll be learning the product, the market, and the buyer at the same time — and shaping how we sell as you go.

Weeks 1–4

Learn the product and the people we serve

Get fluent in the platform, sit in on existing conversations, and understand the real problems nonprofit and SaaS teams are trying to solve.

Weeks 5–8

Run your own pipeline

Start prospecting, qualifying, and running demos — with direct access to leadership to sharpen your pitch and close early deals.

Months 3+

Build the system

Turn what's working into a repeatable process — messaging, outreach, qualification — that the next AE on the team will inherit from you.

How we work

  • Small, direct team — you'll talk to engineering and leadership regularly, not through layers of process.
  • Remote-first, with the trust that comes from hiring people who own their outcomes.
  • We sell to people doing mission-driven work, so the pitch has to be honest, not hyped.
  • You'll have real input into pricing, positioning, and which markets we go after next.

What you get

A founding role with real equity in how this company sells — and a pay structure that reflects it.

Compensation

$120,000–$200,000 a year, built to reward the person who builds the pipeline, not just works it.

Flexibility

Remote, full-time, with the autonomy to structure your own week around what moves deals forward.

Influence

You're not following a sales playbook — you're writing the one this company will use for years.

Before you apply

The application will ask you a couple of short questions. We're not looking for polish — we're looking for specifics. Good answers show us how you think about selling to a mission-driven buyer, and how you've actually built something — a pipeline, a process, a relationship — from nothing. Tell us what you did, not what you'd do.

A quick note: we read every application closely. Take your time, be direct, and skip the generic cover-letter language — we'd rather hear your real answer in three sentences than a polished one in three paragraphs.
